Peeps Trip Easter 2011

This year we spent Easter with the Peeps at the Gaylord National Resort Center in National Harbor MD. We had a great time at the Peeps Store and walking around the other stores. The Peeps store had any type of Peep item you would ever want. The people who ran the store were impressed with mine & Bri's peep tattoo -- even taking pictures of them. At 5 pm they had  Peep family craft activities. Big yellow Peep chick was there over seeing what we were making ! Turned out we had to decorate a gingerbread house with candies provided by the First Born company (maker of Peeps !) Then came the main event "the egg hunt" !!!!! If you found the golden egg you spent 2 nights at the Peep factory ( First Born ) in Bethlehem Pa... so JR was a major mission ! The hotel had a huge lawn that went down to the Potomac River. Needless to say some other kid found the egg but it was still great fun for JR !
